A Powerful Visualization

Aurora Borealis

It was 1:30 in the morning. With eyes wide open, I had a dreadful sense of foreboding stuck in my chest, right in my heart.

I searched YouTube for binaural beats and found one called “Get Rid of All Bad Energy, Tibetan Healing Sounds, Reduce Stress and Anxiety, Meditation.” I clicked the link.

“Get Rid of All Bad Energy, Tibetan Healing Sounds, Reduce Stress and Anxiety, Meditation.”

While listening, eyes shut, I visualized a light streaming from the sky, a direct link to God. I breathed in and out, a meditation of love and kindness, healing and miracles. I traced my thigh with my fingertips, down to my left knee and held on, breathing healing into existence. Somehow my own touch soothed. I traced my left arm in the same way around to my left breast, the one with a cancerous tumor. I hadn’t intended to examine myself, but I discovered what had been a hardening of tissue post-radiation was now soft to the touch. I held on, inhaling.

In my mind’s eye, I breathed in the light, and on the exhale that same light wrapped me up like a cocoon of love, kindness, healing, and miracles. The energy surrounding my body glowed in transforming colors, reminiscent of the Aurora Borealis. From green to blue, purple to pink to white. I drew my own conclusions. Green for growth, blue for hope, purple for power, pink for feminine strength, white for the purest of love. And for this experience, I am grateful.

      1. Hi Dwight! I’m feeling better all the time. Two more days of school and hoping to feel like writing soon. I will have my next scan in August, and I’m expecting great news. Thanks for asking. Happy Memorial Day!

  1. A beautiful post Crystal and one we can all learn from. The aurora is in full throat here right now, but I am an early to bed kinda guy. Hope you are feeling and doing better. 🤗🤗🤗Allan

    1. Thanks, Alan. I googled aurora for spelling and photo and saw a recent geomagnetic storm was marked 4 of 5 and observed as far south as New Mexico. I’ve never seen one in person, but I felt like I did last night. That was wild.

  2. What a lovely and healing visualization. Hope it brings strength, peace, comfort, and healing. You didn’t have comments on you last post or the ability to share it. I was totally impressed by it and would like to share it if possible.

    1. Hi Ellen. I’ve had a number of nights where I go to sleep early and then eyes wide open sometime after midnight. I’m looking forward to tonight and a full night of rest. Thank you for speaking God’s help and protection over me!

  3. Buon Giorno— we started new prayer which we’ve done for 40 years on Wednesdays from noon to one, but last week, we started on Monday from noon to one and it will continue every day from last Monday until Easter…. as I enter the sanctuary, where so much has taken place for our family… marriage, happiness, sadness, healing, restoration, new beginnings, I always pray for you first— the solitude is so rewarding and I know God hears our every prayer and answers them. Love you so much! I know when you cry out to God, the Psalms say, “I will heal you”
    Love you 💓Nanadanamom

  5. God often communicates in unexpected yet wonderfully powerful ways, huh, Crystal? Even while speaking to a teacher in Houston at 1:30 in the morning.

You know far better that do most of us that recovery is a process. It’s a series of steps which asks for time and patience. There definitely have been, and will be, many mileposts along the way. Achievements you will rejoice in having gained.

Some shine more brilliantly. Your vibrant, shimmering rainbow cocoon illuminating the darkest hour all by itself is one of them. Years from now, when people ask how you made it through, this is one of the first memories your mind will stir.

  6. Thank you for sharing!!.. a good deal of dealing with life’s storms is ones inner self and there are times when one needs to briefly stop the world, get off and connect with one’s inner self and reboot… each has to do it their own way, I use meditation… thank you for showing us a way to do that. .. “It is not easy to find happiness within ourselves, and it is not possible to find it elsewhere.” (Agnes Repplier )… 🙂

Hope all is well, life is all that you wish for it to be and until we meet again..
May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
    wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
    with joy that long endures.
    May all life’s passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!
    (Irish Saying)
