For We Walk by Faith

Walk with me
through my new school.
Climb with me.
Behold.
Inspiration.

“Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.”

    1. Thank you, David! Sometimes I wonder about both of those things (teaching—after taking a break and returning to new technology, writing—well, because writing), but I just keep taking steps and believing I’m on course. Happy Sunday!

    1. Me, too, Priscilla! It’s like working in an art gallery, except I can also see down into the third-floor dance studios from the hallway outside my fourth-floor classroom. It’s the performing and visual arts magnet high school.

  1. What an invigorating setting, Crystal! Of and for creativity.

The school really lucked out in selecting you. It found a perfect match (and vice-versa, right?).

The artwork everywhere is a constant reminder of intellectual vigor, and of the reassuring beauty it creates. Here the soul realizes its aspiration, more so than it does just about anywhere else. What better inspiration for creative writing, right?

Life ebbed and life flowed, yet it brought you here…home.

  2. Thank you for sharing a part of your world and lovely photos!!… “The teacher who is indeed wise does not bid you to enter the house of his wisdom but rather leads you to the threshold of your mind.” (Kahlil Gibran ) and I have no doubt you will lead the kids to believe in their dreams and to introduce them to a world they never thought possible!!… 🙂

    Until we meet again..
May the dreams you hold dearest
    Be those which come true
    May the kindness you spread
    Keep returning to you
